Customize the Chart Of Accounts
The Accounting Subscriuption within FINSYNC's Business Platform allows you to customize the Chart of Accounts
An essential tool for any Business is the ability to have a customized Chart of Accounts (COA). Customizing the Chart of Accounts helps you to categorize transactions in more detail allowing for more granular reporting and a more detailed understanding of your business activities.
The FINSYNC Business Platform has an initial Chart of Accounts to assign to banking transactions. To customize the Chart of Accounts, you will need to have the Accounting feature as part of your FINSYNC subscription. Once you have subscribed to Accounting, you can proceded to custmizing the Chart of Accounts.
How to Create New Accounts & Edit Existing Accounts:
- Navigate to Accounting on the main menu of the Business Platform.
- Note: You will be prompted to upgade to Accounting if it is not alerady part of your subscription.
- In the left hand menu, underneath the "Set Up" section, click Chart of Accounts.
- You can now select any of the pre-set/existing Accounts in order to edit them.
- The +New button can be utilized in order to create a new Account.
- Once all desired accounts have been created/edited, you can return to Banking and begin updating transactions.
